Welcome to Happy Hour at Rabble Studio!
Happy hour is our monthly get together where we listen to interesting people, have fun and make new friends. All over a tasty beverage in our friendly and creative work home in Cardiff Bay.
This month we are joined by Sara Pepper, Director of Creative Economy for Cardiff University and head of Creative Cardiff. Sara took up the newly created role of Director of Creative Economy in July 2014 and it is her ambition to inspire, encourage and support working relationships across the city through networking, partnership engagement and knowledge exchange which will in turn enable the project to achieve its aims.
Sara is currently a member of the British Council UK Hubs Steering Group, the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales Advisory Group, the Dahl 100 Wales Steering Group and the Cardiff Book Festival Advisory Group.
She has experience in both the creative and higher education sectors working locally, nationally and internationally for organisations such as the Southbank Centre, the BBC, the Wales Millennium Centre and the Sydney Olympic Games 2000.
Sara is joining us to talk about the creative economy of Cardiff, the challenges the city faces and the future of the creative industries in Cardiff and the city region.
High fives, April. High Fives!
